Relegation Battle: will it be EEPCO or Mugher Cement?
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – This year’s winner of the Ethiopian Premier League was decided two weeks ago when St. George clinched its record 12th title. But as the 2015/15 season concludes this week, the question that has been on most soccer fans’ mind is who will join Woldia Kenema in relegation. The two unluckiest candidates are Electric (EEPCO) and Mugher Cement, who are occupying the 12th & 13th places respectively.
EEPCO will travel to Sodo to face Wolaita Dicha, while Mugher will visit the nation’s capital to square off with Defence Force (Mekelakeya). On the other hand, Dedebit FC and Adama Kenema will battle for second-placed finish. Adama will host Arba Minch Kenema and Dedebit will take on newly crowned champions St. George.
