St.George hosts Sebeta City, Dedebit faces Hawassa City

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The 2010//11 Ethiopian Premier League kicked off this past Sunday with six matches played here in Addis and five other cities of the country.

The matches featuring St. George FC vs Sebeta City and Dedebit FC vs Hawassa City were postponed for tomorrow as the Saints and Dedebit faced each other in the final of the Ethiopian Super Cup on Saturday. St. George clinched the cup with a 3-2 victory.

St. George beat Sebeta City twice in last year’s championship. The Saints won 1-0 here in Addis and 2-1 in Sebeta. Meanwhile, after playing a scoreless tie in Hawassa, Dedebit lost the return match in Addis 2-1.
