Ethiopian Premier League: Adama City scores 1-0 victory over Dedebit FC
Adama – Adama City scored a 1-0 victory over Dedebit FC in a makeup match played here today, reported Ermias Amare on his FB page.
The victory elevated Adama to 10th place in the Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) championship.
Adama City had several of its matches postponed after it lost 2 of its club members during a bus crash that also injured several of players.
Abiy Moges scored the lone goal of the game twenty two minutes into the first half.
For Dedebit (24pts +8 goals), a victory today would have narrowed the gap they have with Ethiopian Coffee, but now they are not even sure even if they can maintain their third place position as their nearest rival Hawassa City (24pts +7 goals) has one match in hand.
