Ethiopian Football: Defence & Coffee victorious, Hawassa settles for a draw

Adigrat – Ethiopian Premier League leader Defence Force scored a 1-0 victory over host Trans Ethiopia here today, second-place Ethiopian Coffee collected all 3 points from EPPCO (2-0) in Addis Ababa, while Hawassa City shared a point (1-1) with Harar Brewery in Assela, wrote Ermias Amare on his FaceBook page.

It was Manaye Fantu, who scored Defence’s goal in Adigrat. Ethiopian Coffee opened the score with Dawit Stefanos’ penalty kick (72’) and added a second through Binyam Taye in extra time.
