Ethiopian Football: CBE forces Ethiopian Coffee to a 1-1 draw
Addis Ababa – Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) forced Ethiopian Coffee to drop 2 crucial points as they held them to a 1-1 draw here today, reported Ermias Amare.
Ethiopian Coffee took the lead on 56 minutes through Medhane Tadesse, but CBE equalized 16 minutes later thanks to Abiy Beyene.
In other matches, Dedebit FC defeated Dire Dawa City 2-0; St. George beat Harar Brewery 1-0; Mugher Cement and Adama drew scoreless and Sidama Coffee were victorious (2-0) at home against Lideta Nyala.
The league will continue here tomorrow with Defence Force and EEPCO hosting Sebeta City and Hawassa City respectively.
