Ethiopia Football: St. George defeats Defence Force 2-0
Addis Ababa – Defending champions St. George defeated Defence Force 2-0 here today to move up to 3rd place, behind Dedebit FC and Ethiopian Coffee, according to EthioFootball.com.
St. George’s defender Isaac scored the first goal of the game on 38th minute after a goalmouth scramble gave the defender an easy chance to tap in the ball in the net. Adane Girma added a second in injury time (94’).
The victory gives St. George 51 points just one point behind the two league leaders. Defence Force falls to 4th place with 49 points.
The league competition with Week 28 matches taking place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
