Ethiopia Soccer: St. George clinch Addis Ababa City Cup
Addis Ababa – St. George clinched the 6th edition of the Addis Ababa City Cup with a 1-0 victory over Dedebit FC here yesterday.
The lone goal of the game from a beautifully taken free kick by Abebaw Butako 57 minutes in the game.  It was the same Abebaw who scored St. George’s goal in their 1-0 victory over Ethiopian Coffee in the semi-final match.
This marks the 3rd consecutive AA title victory for St. George. Other City Cup winners include EEPCO (2) and Ethiopian Coffee (1).
St. George won this year’s title without conceding a goal.  The team played 4 games, winning all 4 and scoring 6 goals.
