Seychelles launches adventure tourism markets
Couples who would like to experience a luxury holiday could try the Seychelles for a taste of a tropical paradise.
While the destination has become renowned for its miles of untouched beaches and warm, turquoise waters, it also offers intrepid holidaymakers plenty of adventures and activities.
Alain St. Ange, Chief Executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board, explained: “In November, we will launch our niche markets – sailing holidays, bone fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Also, Seychelles has mountains where you can enjoy walking, and we’re now launching a [new] campaign for abseiling from the mountains and walking [around] them with wires.”
He added: “We have our luxurious mountains and the beauty you can enjoy from the top, a view that is perfect. Yes, we are going into activity days instead of just [luxury].”
Mr. St. Ange’s remarks came after Ethiopian Airlines announced it will provide new flights to the Seychelles from November 15.
