SPORTS: Ethiopian Coffee defeats EEPCO 3-2
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Ethiopia Premier League defending champions Ethiopian Coffee scored their first victory of the 2011/12 season when they defeated current leader EEPCO 3-2 here today, reported EthioFootball.com.
This also marked the first loss of the season for EEPCO, who have two victories and two draws in their last 4 matches.
It only took seven minutes for Medhane Tadesse to give Ethiopian Coffee the lead. They added two more goals through their striker Tafesse Tesfaye (27’ & 41’) to go 3 up at half-time.
EEPCO’s goals came in the last ten minutes of the game, when Abari (84’) and Philip (88’) scored two quick goals with 4 minutes apart.
