Mugher Cement defeats Adama City 3-0
Assela, Ethiopia – Mugher Cement defeated Adama City 3-0 here today to move to third place behind EEPCO and St. George, while Ethiopian Coffee dropped to 5th after being held to a 2-2 draw by Sidama Coffee.
Elsewhere, CBE travel to Hawassa to play a scoreless tie, while Defence Force registered a 1-0 victory against Ethiopian Air Force in Bishoftu.
Although Defence is still lagging at the bottom of the league, the team will surely welcome today’s victory, after it suffered three consecutive defeats.
So, after Week 9, EEPCO seats at the top with 18 points. They are followed by St. George, Mugher Cement, Adama City and Ethiopian Coffee, all with 13 points. However, St. George has 3 matches in hand.
