16th Addis Chamber Int’l Trade Fair Concludes
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (ENA) - The 16th Addis Chamber International Trade Fair concludes here today.
Speaking at the closing of the trade fair participants from Italy and China, among others, said availability of sound trade and investment policy enabled them to engage in various development activities in Ethiopia.
They expressed commitment to work jointly with Ethiopian investors by using the existing conducive trade and investment policy.
Accordingly, Renato Zambeti and Vitky Zhi Italian and Chinese investors respectively expressed satisfaction to engage in the trade fair.
The investors lauded the ongoing rapid development in the country.
They also said that they witnessed during their stay here that the country has become destination for trade and investment.

on his part said the trade fair will contribute share in the efforts to transfer technology and knowledge among countries.
A total of 269 companies drawn from 25 countries including Ethiopia took part in the week-long trade fair organized under the theme: Industrial Development for Growth and Transformation.
The number of companies took part in the trade fair exceeded by 20 that of in the previous year.
Some of the companies are drawn from Sudan, Egypt, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India, USA, Italy, Holland and Germany, among others.
The first Addis Chamber International Trade Fair was organized in 1988 EC.
