2013 Cup of Nations Qualifier: Ethiopia 0 Benin 0

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Ethiopian national football team or the “Walias” as they are known failed once again to capitalize on easy scoring chances and were held scoreless by Benin in the first leg match of the 2013 Cup of Nations qualifier.

The two teams will meet in Cotonou in two weeks time.

The Ethiopian team, which was missing several key players from defending Premier League champions Ethiopian Coffee and Ethiopian Cup winner St. George FC, had several chances to score. But once again, the result was disappointing.
