EEPCO back in the lead

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – EEPCO is back in the lead of the Ethiopia Premier League with a 2-1 victory of Defence Force here today.

The lead could however be temporary as second-placed St. George, which is trailing the leaders by just one point, has 2 matches in hand, including one with Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) here tomorrow.

The league will continue on Wednesday with Ethiopian coffee facing Mugher Cement in the nation’s capital.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Coffee and St. George will play for Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Cup, which is held to celebrate the first anniversary of ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
