Dedebit FC defeats Air Force 4-0

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Dedebit FC defeated bottom of the league table Ethiopian Air Force 4-0 as Week 16 of the Ethiopia Premier League resumes here today.

Although the victory didn’t affect Dedebit’s overall league position, it brought the team within one point of second-placed EEPCO. However, this might change as EEPCO faces CBE here on Tuesday.

As for the newly promoted Ethiopian Air Force team, the championship has simply been a big challenge. The team has played 16 matches so far, won 2, drew 3 and lost a staggering 11 matches. Its frontline has scored just 7 goals (0.44 goal/match) and its defensive line conceded 22.

The league will continue tomorrow with Sidama Coffee hosting Defence Force and Hawassa City travelling to Harar.
