Three teams share lead of Ethiopia Premier League

–Dedebit FC, EEPCO and St. George are now on top of the Ethiopia Premier League following weekend matches in Week 17.

All three teams have 33 points each but they are separated by goal differences.

However, while Dedebit & EEPCO have played 17 matches each, St. George has only played 14.

There were six matches played in various cities yesterday. Here in Addis Ababa, Dedebit FC crushed Sidama Coffee 4-0 while Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and Defence Force played to a 1-1 draw.

EEPCO travelled east and drew scoreless with Dire Dawa City

Hawassa City and Arba Minch used their home field advantage to beat Mugher Cement and Adama City by an identical score of 1-0, while Harar Brewery beat lowly Ethiopian Air Force 1-0 in Bishoftu.

The league will continue on Tuesday, with Ethiopian Coffee travelling to Adama while St. George hosting Dire Dawa City.
