Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – St. George of Ethiopia were beaten 3-1 by CS Sfaxien of Tunisia here in Group A match of the Orange CAF Confederation Cup Tournament.
Sfaxien led 3-0 at half-time with goals coming from Idrissa (10’), Maaloul (24’) and Hannachi (29’’). Umed Oukri scored Saint George’s lone goal (66’).
In the group’s other match, Stade Malien were held to a scoreless tie at home by Etoile Sportive du Sahel. If there was any consolation, Stade Malien now have their first point.
