Enterprise secures over 4.5 bln. Birr revenue from sale of coffee, grains
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (ENA) – The Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise said it has secured over 4.5 billion Birr in revenue from sale of coffee and other agricultural outputs during the concluded budget year.
Enterprise General Manager, Birihane Hailu told ENA that the Enterprise obtained the stated sum from sale of over 6.2 quintals output to global and local market.
He said the Enterprise has supplied coffee, oil seeds, grains and cereals to the global and local market.
The performance exceeds the target by over 11.2 million Birr and over 540,400 quintals from the previous year, he added. Meanwhile, the Enterprise has imported and distributed over 5.1 million quintals of wheat to stabilize the local market, he said.
