Techno brains behind new digital driver license
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Techno Brain, the leading custom software application development company, has signed an agreement with the Transport Authority to digitalize the issue of driving licenses. It will implement a biometric-based system, which can never be duplicated once legalized by the authority.
Zelalem Worku, pre-sales consultant for the company, briefed journalists on the various projects Techno Brain are undertaking in Ethiopia, with the most significant the digitalizing of such an important document. “The driving license has always been problematic for the authority, as some possess it illegally due to its exposition for forgery and duplication,†he said. The process has evolved since the initial agreement was made with the authority, and samples are now available.
The company is also involved in projects with various governmental and non-governmental organizations to form a database system and provide enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Moreover, it has finalized its preparation to launch Microsoft certification and IT business training.
