Bishaw: Ethiopia can beat any team
Ethiopia coach Sewnet Bishaw believes Nigeria’s high pedigree will count for nothing when they face the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia this weekend.
The Ethiopian coach believes his team has grown both in confidence and experience, and thus have nothing to fear going into Sunday’s 2014 World Cup Play-off clash against Nigeria in Addis Ababa.
“Nigeria are very experienced and have a lot of talent and skill. But even though they have those qualities, we are at a good level and we will challenge them,” Bishaw told BBC Sport.
“Our players are young, fresh and have played against many professional players – they have come to understand that it is man against man, and that they can beat any country if they work hard.”
