Ethiopia announces team for CHAN

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Ethiopian National team has selected 27 local footballers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament to be held in South Africa in January 2014, and will begin training next week.
Goalkeeper Sisay Bancha and defender Abebaw Butako have both been dropped from the squad, sources told The Reporter. The two players were involved in a fight in Calabar, Nigeria, after the Walias lost 2–0 to the Super Eagles in the World Cup play-off.
