Coca-Cola Superstars season two kicks off
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - The leading beverage company, Coca-Cola, announced the start of Coca-Cola Superstars Season Two, dubbed ‘Tetekin Filega’ on Thursday in a press conference held at Hager Fikir Theatre, the oldest indigenous theater in Africa and the origin for modern Ethiopian music and drama.
Coca-Cola has completed its preparation to make this season’s Coca-Cola Superstars unique and entertaining. The talent show is scheduled to run for five months and aims to give, up and coming artists an opportunity to present their exceptional talents.
The company also announced that it has increased the prize for the winners of the competition to half a million birr. The show is adding four cities this season, increasing the number of cities the show will scout to nine.

Registrations have started in two categories, namely music and group dance for those talented individuals between the ages 13 – 29 in nine cities including Addis Ababa.
The first season, which covered 5 cities, aired for ten months. The winner was crowned as Coca-Cola’s Superstar.
