Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – South Africa men’s under-20 team stunned their hosts in Addis Ababa with a deserved 2-0 victory over Ethiopia in an Africa Youth Championship first leg qualifier at the National Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The first 15 minutes was a see-saw affair with Ephraim “Shakes”Mashaba’s boys firing on all cylinders while the Ethiopians struggled to keep them at bay.

Amajita’s relentless efforts paid off in the 85th minute when Siyanda Ngubo put matters beyond Ethiopia with another beautiful goal to give South African an important away win in the second round of the qualifiers.
