Ethiopian Women dominate Prague International Marathon
Prague – Firehiwot Dado leads an Ethiopian women team to claim the first six places at the 2014 Prague International Marathon held here today.
The men’s race was won by Patrick Kipyegon Terer of Kenya with fellow countryman Evans Kiplagat Chebet and Cuthbert Nyasango of Zimbabwe finishing second and third respectively.
Dado crossed the finish line in 2:23:34,ahead of Fantu Eticha and Ashete Bekere.
Terer, who was third last year in Prague, completed the 20th edition of the race in 2 hours, 8 minutes and 7 seconds in rainy and windy conditions.
