Youssouf Hersi heads to Perth Glory
Hersi, 31, joined the Wanderers in 2012, helping them to win the Premier’s Plate in their inaugural campaign and reach two successive A-League Grand Finals.Â
The Ethiopian-born Dutchman, who represented the Netherlands at Under-21 level, will be expected to become a key player at nib Stadium as Glory seek to revive their fortunes under Kenny Lowe.
“We are delighted to have a player of Hersi’s calibre here at Perth Glory,” club CEO Jason Brewer said in a statement.
“He is a great player, with a fantastic pedigree and as we rebuild for next season, his addition to the club will be the first of many quality signings we will be making in the near future.”
