CBE launches new service for premium & business customers
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia -Â Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) said it has launched a new system which gives a special and privileged service to its premium and business customers.
CBE classified its customers as premium and business based on the foreign currency they generate and their deposit at the bank.
“CBE introduced the new system to give recognition and encourage its customers,†Epherem Mekuria, Communication Manager of CBE told WIC recently.
According to Epherem, the premium customers will get special services in all the branches of CBE while Business Customers will get privileged treatment only in branches where they have accounts.
Premium and business customers will also receive prompt responses to request concerning foreign trade service and immediate preferential internet banking to facilitate e-payment of all kinds.
Availing separate parking lots in all branches of CBE and providing salary payment services to the employees of the bank’s premium and business customers are among the services availed to premium and business customers.
Established in 1942, the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia has 818 branches stretched across the country as of June 18, 2014, it was learnt.
