CAF Confederation Cup: Dedebit takes on Côte d’Or

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Ethiopia’s Cup winner Dedebit FC will fly to the Seychelles Islands tonight via Kenya Airways to play with Côte d’Or in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first leg match on Saturday.

The two sides will meet here for the return leg match a couple weeks later.

Côte d’Or were Seychelles’ league champions in 2013.

Coach Yohannes Sahle told local reporters that his team will miss the services of Yared Zenabu, Henok Kassahun and goalie Tariku Getnet due to injury.

Should Dedebit eliminate Côte d’Or, they will face the winner of RCB (Burkina Faso) and Warri wolves (Nigeria) in the round of 16.
