Coach Sahle calls on 19 players for Botswana friendly, World Cup & CHAN qualifiers

Addis Ababa – Ethiopia Walia Ibex coach Yohannes Sahle has called on 19 players for the friendly match against Botswana in Gaborone on September 30 as that part of that country’s independence celebration.

Coach Sahle also wants to use the friendly match to prepare for Walia’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against São Tomé e Principe and the CHAN qualifier against Burundi.

Goalkeepers: Tarik Getnet, Le-Alem Berhanu and Abel Mamo. 

Defenders: Seyoum Tesfaye, Tekalegn Dejene, Aschalew Tamene, Anteneh Tesfaye, Mujib Kasim and Zecharias Tuji. 

Midfielders: Efrem Ashamo, Gatoch Panom, Mulu-Alem Mesfin, Biruk Kalbore, Binyam Belay, Bereket Yishak and Aschalew Girma.

Strikers: Baye Gezahegn, Dawit Fekadu and Ramkel Lok.

Coach Sahle is expected to add a few more players following the conclusion of the Ethiopian Cup competition.
