Café Roha – Santa Fe, New Mexico
Café Roha‘s cuisine echos the mystery of Ethiopia and her ancient culture thorough a rich cuisine, made from recipes handed down from many generations.
Café Roha brings Ethiopian Cuisine to Santa Fe for the first time in DeVargas Center. The ancient city of Roha evokes imagery of 7th Century rock-hewed churches, and is often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world.” It represents the soul of Ethiopia’s ancient history and her rich cultural heritage.
Café Roha invites you to join them for an afternoon meal or at one of their traditional coffee ceremonies.
The menu includes traditional Ethiopian dishes (both vegetarian and with beef, chicken and fish) injera made from teff, an Ethiopian grain, as well as burgers, sandwiches and salads with an African twist. The cardamom and dates gelato sound divine as dessert.
