Castel Premier League: Adama Kenema defeat defending champions Kedus Giorgis 2-0

Adama – Host Adama Kenema defeated defending champions Kedus Giorgis (St. George) 2-0 as week 1 of the 2015 Castel Premier League continued here today.

Wondwossen Mikias was the hero of the match as he scored both of his team’s goals just 3 minutes apart (14′ 17′ ).

In today’s other matches, Arba Minch Kenema beat Hadiya Hossana 1-0 thanks to a late goal by Teshome Tadesse (88′); a similar situation happened in Gondar where  host Dashen Bira (Dashen Beer) were victorious over Dire Dawa Kenema as a result of a late goal (90′) by Yetesha Gizaw.

The battle of the south between Hawassa Kenema and Sidama Bunna ended in a draw (1-1) with both teams scoring from the penalty spot. Bereket Yisaq scored at the end of the first half (45′) and Andualem Negussie responded ten minutes after the start of the second (55′).

Ethiopian Bunna (Ethiopian Coffee) beat Nigd Bank (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia) 1-0 thanks to a quick goal by Yabun William (1′).
