Adama Kenema maintains lead with 2-0 victory over Electric
Adama – Week 2 of the 2015 Castel Premier League resumed here today with host Adama Kenema beating Electric 2-0 to remain on top of the league.
Adama, who last week defeated Kedus Giorgis 2-0, got their goals ironically from former electric striker Tafesse Tesfaye, who scored in the 63rd and 80th minutes.
Meanwhile in Addis Ababa, Nigd Bank held Dedebit to a scoreless tie at the Abebe Bikila Stadium. Mekelakeya rebounded from a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Electric in the season’s opener to squeeze by Ethiopian Bunna (1-0) thanks to a late goal by Samuel Taye (88’) at the Addis Ababa Stadium.
