Mazagan Beach Resort sees high demand from golf lovers
Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, a leading holiday destination, has recorded high demand from golf enthusiasts for the Gary Player 18-hole course at the resort, which is currently ranked third in Morocco.
Gary Player is the architect of the 18-hole Mazagan golf course. This golfing legend – who claimed his three Open titles on the championship seaside courses at Muirfield, Carnoustie and Royal Lytham & St Anne’s – has put all his expertise in this contemporary links course on Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
“We welcome golf lovers from around the world, who seek breezy relaxing stay with their families, and enjoy different fun activities, including Golf,” says Stephan Killinger, president of Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort. “Our Golf resort is an ideal option as it is available inside a hotel that has almost every entertainment and relaxing service available in the country.”
The Gary Player 18-hole course boasted the longest track in the country at almost 7,500 yards when it opened for play in 2009, offering un-matching experience with panoramic 360° views. “Visitors to the golf course enjoy every bit of it, for example, holes 15, 16 and 18 are the most memorable holes on the card as they run alongside the beach, or others which offer spectacular nature views,” added Killinger.
Mazagan is a full-fledged resort that offers experiences to everyone of the family. The resort was named Golf Resort of the Year in 2013 by The Global Golf Tourism Organisation, while CNN lists it among 10 best golf destinations in Africa.
