Sahle announces preliminary squad for CHAN Competition
Addis Ababa – Ethiopia Walia coach Yohannes Sahle has announced a 30-man squad in preparation of the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) competition, which will held in Rwanda from January 16 till February 7, 2016.
The current squad includes Alula Girma and Asrat Megersa, two of the more experienced players, who helped the Walias qualify for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 30-man squad:
Goalkeepers: Tarik Getnet (Dedebit), Abel Mamo (Mugher Cemento), Yidnekachew Kidane (Mekelakeya) and Le-Alem Berhanu (Sidama Bunna)
Defenders: Seyoum Tesfaye (Dedebit), Tekalegn Dejene (Dedebit), Alula Girma (Kedus Giorgis), Zecharias Tujni (Kedus Giorgis), Aschalew Tamene (Kedus Giorgis), Souleyman Mohammed (Adana Kenema), Anteneh Tesfaye (Sidama Bunna), Yared Bayeh (Dashen Beer), Moges Tadesse (Adama Kenema) and Wondyefraw Getahun (Ethiopia Bunna)
