Sudan to host 2016 Cecafa Challenge Cup

Sudan will host the 2016 Council of East and Central Africa Football Association Senior Challenge Cup.
The country last hosted the regional tournament in 2013.
Uganda will stage the Cecafa U-17 and Women’s Championship this year, while Burundi will host the U-20 event.
Cecafa also announced its five-year strategic plan that will place an emphasis on youth’s/women’s football and technical development.
Meanwhile, Somali Football Federation president Abdiqani Said Arab has been appointed Cecafa vice-chairman.
