U-17 Africa Cup of Nations: Mali victorious against Ethiopia

Bamako – Mali defeated Ethiopia 2-0 in the first leg match of the 12th edition of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Madagascar in 2017.

The two teams, who will play the return match in 2-week time in Ethiopia (Hawassa or Addis Ababa), were scoreless when they went to the dressing rooms at half-time.

Mali opened the score in the 72nd minute thanks to a penalty kick, which Hadji Dramé converted, and added a second goal 14 minutes later by Traore.
