Ethiopian Coffee register first win of the season

Ethiopian Coffee FC have registered their first win of the season after beating Sidama Coffee home to Kenyan duo of Eric Muranda and Sunday Mutuku 2:1 in an Ethiopian Premier League encounter played at the Addis Ababa Stadium.

Samuel Sanumi opened the scoring for the home side early in the 9th minute of the match before Yabun William added the second in the 23rd minute of the match.

Sidama Coffee FC came back after the interval rejuvenated and their efforts paid off in the 55th minute when they scored their consolation goal courtesy of former St. George midfielder Fitsum Tefferi.

The win sees Ethiopian Coffee climb to 12th on the log with 5 points, 4 adrift of league leaders St. George who play Adama City on Sunday, having played 5 matches winning 1 match, loosing in 2 and sharing the spoils In 2 encounters.
