EPL Week 8: Dedebit & Adama victorious, Kedus Giorgis awaits Ethiopia Bunna
Addis Ababa – Dedebit FC and Adama Kenema were victorious in Week 8 of the Ethiopian Premier League as the much anticipated Addis Ababa derby between defending champions Kedus Giorgis and Ethiopia Bunna takes place tomorrow.
Dedebit defeated Ethiopia Nigd Bank thanks to a brace from Getaneh Kebede, who took his season tally to 8 goals in 8 matches.
Adama for its part, beat the visiting Jimma Abba Bunna 1-0. Sidama Bunna sent last placed Hawassa Kenema to a 3-1 defeat; Mekelakeya emerge victorious against Addis Ababa Kenema (2-1); Woliata Dicha squeezed by Woldia Kenema 1-0, so did Arba Minch Kenema in Dire Dawa.
