Ethiopia Nigd Bank surprises Adama Kenema with 2-0 victory

Addis Ababa – Ethiopia Nigd Bank surprised current Ethiopia Premier League leader Adama Kenema with a 2-0 victory here today in Week 11 of the championship.

Nigerian striker  Okechukwu Peter Nwadike opened the score 19 minutes into the first half and Bank sealed the deal with a second goal in the 57th minute thanks to Fikreyesus Berhan.

In the second match, local side Addis Ababa Kenema, which seats at the bottom of the league table, suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sidama Bunna.

Girum Assefa scored the lone goal of the match (40′). 

The league will continue tomorrow with 6 matches taking place in various cities of the country.
