EPL Week 22: Dire Dawa stuns Coffee, Giorgis drops points in Sodo
Week 22 of the Ethiopian Premier League saw leader Kedus Giorgis dropping points in Sodo as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolayta Dicha; Dire Dawa stunned Ethiopian Coffee 3-1 at home; Dedebit defeating Addis Ababa Kenema 3-0 in the nation’s capital and Sidama Bunna, who despite the narrow 2-1 victory over the visiting Woldiya Kenema, were happy to get the maximum three points.
Elsewhere, Adama Kenema failed to take home field advantage as they drew 2-2 with Hawassa Kenema; Ethiopia Nigd Bank scored a surprising 3-0 away win in Arba Minch; Fasil Kenema beat Jimma Abba Bunna by an identical (2-1) and Ethio-Electric got the best out of Mekelakeya with a 3-0 victory.
