CAF Champions League: Saint George defeat AS Vita Club 1-0

Addis Ababa – Saint George of Ethiopia defeated AS Vita Club of Congo 1-0 in Group C match of CAF Champions League here today.

Salhadin Said scored the lone goal of the game in the 60th minute.

Today’s victory gives Saint George 5 points from 3 matches and move the team to 2nd place in the group behind Esperance de Tunis, which has 7 points.

For AS Vita, today’s match was a do or die situation as they have lost their previous two matches.  However, they have a chance to avenge their defeat to Saint George in two-weeks time when they meet again.
