Abraham Mebratu summons provisional Waliya’s squad
The newly appointed Ethiopia coach Abraham Mebratu has called up on 34 players for the upcoming Total African Cup of Nations Qualifier Group F game against Sierra Leone in Hawassa on September 9.
The team is predominantly comprised of players from the local league whilst four players ply their trade abroad. As coach Abraham has expressed on his unveiling presser players who were recently summoned for national team duty and those with international game experience got chosen for the Sierra Leone assignment.
The Waliyas will enter residential camp in Hawassa comes August 7. The head coach is expected to trim the squad to 23 players before his charges take on the Western African nation.
