Ethiopian Tousism Organization gets new head

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has assigned Lensa Mekonnen as the new CEO of the Ethiopian Tourism Organization (ETO).

She received the letter of appointment at the end of last week, filling the vacant position for the six months after the departure of Yohannes Tilahun, who was removed from his post following a dispute between the members of the Tourism Board and the ETO.

Before assuming her new position, Lensa was an independent consultant, advising in the areas of leadership development and public relations & communication.
