Fasil Kenema crashes out of CAF Confederation Cup
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – Fasil Kenema, Ethiopia‘s representative in this 2019 CAF Confederation Cup, were eliminated on a 3-2 aggregate score following a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Azam FC of Tanzania here today.Fasil won the first leg match 1-0 two weeks ago.
Azam’s goals came from Richard Djodi (23′ & 31′) and Abrey Chirwa (59′), while Mujib Kasim scored Fasil’s lone goal in the 37th minute.
Meanwhile, Ethiopian Premier League champions Mekelle 70 Enderta will host Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea at home in the second leg match of the 2019 CAF Champions League match.
Cano won the first leg match 2-1 two weeks ago.
