African Games: Ethiopian Athletes Sweep Half-Marathon Medals
Rabat, Morocco – Ethiopian women athletes took top-3 spots in the Half-Marathon race here with Yalemzer Yehwala finishing first in 1:10:26 followed by compatriots Degitu Azmeraw (1:10:31) and Meseret Belete (1:12:08) in second and third places respectively.
Ethiopia currently seats in 9th place in total medal standings with 6 gold, 5 silver and 11 bronze medals.
The athletics team, which occupies second place in the athletics category, brought in 17 medals
