Ethiopia Announces Team For 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha
Addis Ababa –Ethiopian Athletics Federation (EAF) announced a team that will represent the country at the 17th edition of the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships, which will be held between September 27 and October 6, 2019 in Doha, Qatar.
Here are the lists:
Female
800 m: Gudaf Tsegaye and Deribe Welteji
1,500 m: Genzebe Dibaba, Gudaf Tsegaye, Axumite Ambaye and Lemlem Hailu
3,000 m Steeplechase: Mekdes Abebe, Lomi Teffera, Zerfe Wondimagegn and Agere Belachew
5,000 m: Letesenbet Gidey, Hawi Feyessa, Fantu Worke and Tsehay Gemechu
10,000 m: Almaz Ayana, Letesenbet Gidey, Netsanet Gudeta, Senbere Tefferi and Tsehay Gemechu
Marathon: Roza Dereje, Ruti Aga and Shure Demisse
20 km Walk: Yehwaleye Belete
