Uganda beat Ethiopia 1-0 in Football Friendly

Bahir Dar – Walias of Ethiopia suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the visiting Ugandan Cranes in a friendly match here today.

The lone goal of the match was scored by Emannuel Arnold Okwi, who plays for Al Ittihad of Egypt.

The match was held in preparation of the Walias’ return leg match against Rwanda in the CHAN Tournament.  It should be remembered that the Walias lost 1-0 in the first leg match played in Mekelle.

This marks the second home defeat for the Walias.
