Ethiopia Football: Hawassa City stuns Ethiopian Coffee 3-1

Yiregalem– Hawassa City is slowly climbing from the bottom of the table with a 3-1 stunning victory over current Ethiopian Premier League leader, Ethiopian Coffee here today in Week 7.

Hawassa led 3-0 at half-time with 2 goals from Ashenafi Adem and one from Ashenafi Yetayew. Coffee’s goal came from Mulu-Alem Tilahun in the second half..

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Banks failed to take advantage of Coffee’s debacle when it was held to a 1-1 draw by Trans Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.

Mesfin Damtew for Banks and Ahmed Said for Trans were the goal scorers.
