Keshi hints at changes against Ethiopia
Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is likely to adopt another style and formation against Ethiopia in the last group C match on Tuesday.
The Eagles have drawn two matches against Burkina Faso and Zambia in the same fashion, surrendering a one goal lead late in the match. He dropped captain Yobo Joseph for the match against Zambia but the Eagles conceded an 83rd minute penalty to draw 1-1.
Speaking on the forthcoming encounter in Rustenburg against Ethiopia, Keshi said he would not rest until the winning formation is discovered.
“We have left those matches (against Burkina Faso and Zambia) behind us now; our mind is on the next game. Every game has its spirit and what worked today (against Zambia) may not work in the next match (against Ethiopia). It’s a difficult situation that is constant in football.
“We must not stop in making the team better. We must improve with every game and respond to our failures. We have suffered many unfortunate bad calls from the referees in our last two matches but I don’t like to comment on referees.â€Â
