Wongsang Worldwide Launches the First African Tourism Investment Marketing Summit
Wongsang Worldwide, a digital brand management agency launches the first African Tourism Investment Marketing Summit. The summit will bring together Minister of Tourism, Ambassadors, Industry Leaders advertising agencies and investment banks.

This year’s summit will be examining major tourism infrastructure investment and privatization opportunities across Africa. ATMIS will host the first Infrastructure and Tourism Investment Roundtable with the Government of nine different countries which includes, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe, who has a combined 51 tourism projects that needs funding.
The Africa investor 2010 Wealth Cheque Report, compiled with research from the World Travel and Tourism Council, estimated that Africa’s tourism market today is worth $49.9bn, but has $203.7bn of untapped potential with an estimated total market size of $253.5bn. Creating an environment to attract the investment necessary to meet the sector’s potential will be at the forefront of these Ministerial discussions.

The African Tourism Investment Marketing Summit  is a strategic event that will bring together ministers of tourism and heads of state with investment banks and marketing agencies to better prepare Africa for investment in strategic tourism projects that will lead to sustainable job growth and strategic alliances. The mission of the summit will focus on tourism in Sub-Sahara with project-based objectives. Unlike most summits that start the conversation the (ATIMS) will focus on projects that are Fork ready which means deliverables are obtainable after the summit is over.
