Ethiopian Premier League: Arba Minch defeats Ethiopian Coffee 2-1
Arba Minch – Arba Minch Kenema defeated Ethiopian Coffee 2-1 here yesterday, while Mugher Cement scored an away victory against Adama Kenema by the same score.
Last placed Water Works played to a scoreless tie with the visiting Sidama Coffee in Addis Ababa.
The St. George vs EEPCO derby match was postponed as the former is flying to Cairo, Egypt to face Zamalek in the CAF Orange Champions League first leg match of the second round.
Wednesday’s results did not produce any changes in the Top-5 teams’ standings of the Ethiopian Premier League, with Dedebit FC seating in the driver’s seat (30 pts), followed by Hawassa Kenema (29), Ethiopian Coffee (28), Mekelakeya (25) and St. George (24).
