CAF Confederation Cup: Dedebit FC tastes heavy defeat in Alexandria
Alexandria, Egypt – Haras El Hadoud of Egypt defeated Dedebit FC of Ethiopia 4-0 in the 1st leg match of the CAF Confederation Cup here today.
The return leg match will take place in Addis Ababa in two-week time.
Ahmed Hassan opened the score for El Hadoud just 7 minutes into the game and that’s how the two teams went to their dressing room at half-time.
The Egyptians double the score through Mohammed Halim, 13 minutes into the second half, and it was in the last 10 minutes of the match that they’ve added 2 more goals. Rahman Farouk (80’) and Ahmed Abd El-Ghany (86) were the scorers.
Although anything is possible in soccer, Dedebit do have a very difficult task ahead to reverse the large defeat here today.
